    TORONTO, April 20 /CNW/ - On Saturday, April 21, 2007, Mazda will host
the finals of the MAZDASPEED Xbox Championship, and one talented Microsoft
Xbox 360 video gamer will drive away in a 2007 MAZDASPEED3, the same car used
in the video game.
    Qualifying rounds of the MAZDASPEED Xbox Championship were held in
February at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto, Ontario. Visitors
played the racing video game Need for Speed: Carbon on Xbox 360 consoles and
their lap time was recorded. The top 64 gamers, based on fastest times, were
invited to the championship finals, which will take place at the Underground
of the Drake Hotel Saturday afternoon.
    The 64 finalists will go head-to-head in challenging, fast-paced
competitions. Players must win two out of three sprint races to move on to the
next round. The final four will race head-to-head on a special track with a
tricked out MAZDASPEED3. The fastest player of the final game will receive a
two-year lease on a 2007 MAZDASPEED3, equipped with a 2.3L DISI turbo engine
