RICHMOND HILL, ON, July 4, 2017 /CNW/ - Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) today reported June sales of 6,997 vehicles, which represents an increase of 4.0 percent versus June 2016. Sales through the first half of 2017 are 36,507, which is an increase of 6.5 percent compared to the same period in 2016.
Key June 2017 sales notes:
- CX-3 joined in on the hot subcompact crossover trend with the best June sales ever; an increase of 28.5 percent versus June 2016.
- MX-5 sales continue to sizzle as summer comes into full effect, with the best June sales in 25 years (since 1992), up 122.1% over June 2016.
- Mazda6 sales rose 10.9 percent increase compared to June 2016.
- Mazda5 sales jumped 24.1 percent versus the same month last year.
